Alder quality - A, B, and C
We manufacture glued wood panels from alder wood in three quality grades: A, B, and C. The quality grades can be combined, such as A/B, A/C, B/B, or B/C, according to customer preferences.
- A small, light, healthy knot up to a maximum of 5 mm is allowed
- Few mineral streaks are allowed
- Subtle color variations are allowed
- Light branch until allowed
- Black whole branch up to 5mm allowed

Good to know
Although alder is not as dense and strong as birch, it is often used for making stair steps, tabletops, and shelves. The unique reddish tone of alder gives the panels a distinctive and striking appearance, adding character and warmth to any interior.
