Personal data is data that we collect to provide a service, to identify a person, to contact a person to provide a service, or to answer questions. We do not process sensitive personal data as defined in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR or EU Regulation 2016/679).

Definitions

The controller is the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body that determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data;

An authorised processor is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body that processes personal data on behalf of the controller;

A "cookie" is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or smart device when you visit our website. It allows us to store information about your preferences so that you do not have to make choices again when you visit the site or browse pages.

What personal data do we collect and for what purposes?

Ecobirch AS collects the following data:

Name
E-mail address

In case you wish to receive more information about a service through the website, we collect and process the following personal data - your name and e-mail address. Enquiries can be made by filling in the relevant contact form or by sending an e-mail to the addresses given on the website. We will also use the information about the company obtained from the credit inquiry to prepare the offer.

The legal basis for such processing of personal data is the processing of personal data for the performance of a contract entered into with the data subject or for pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject (GDPR Art 6(1)(b)).

Website browsing statistics

Non-personally identifiable technical data is collected about the visitor when visiting the website.

The technical data is limited to the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer or computer network used, the browser and operating system software version of the computer, the time (time, date, year) and place of the visit. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

We use Google Analytics, an automated tool, to collect the above data. If you do not wish to have this information about you transferred to us, you can opt out of the collection of your data by Google Analytics at any time.

Cookies

Our websites use cookies to improve the quality of the services we provide. We use session cookies, persistent cookies and third-party cookies (Google Analytics, Facebook).

To remember your preferences, such as language, colour contrasts or font size. To remember whether you have (or have not) accepted our cookies on this page. To collect reliable information about the page's traffic, which allows us to measure how well the page is meeting users' needs and to make possible improvements. Allowing cookies is not strictly necessary for the basic functionality of the website, but it does provide a better browsing experience. You can always delete or block cookies if you wish, but doing so may prevent some features of the website from working as intended.

Please note that some cookies come from a third-party service provider who performs some of these functions on our behalf. How long do we keep the data?
The non-personal technical data collected on the website will be stored indefinitely. 

We will retain personal and customer data for as long as necessary to: 1) Provide you with services and information 2) Communicate with you about requests you have made 3) Ensure you exercise your choices and rights.

Sharing personal data

We may make your personal, customer or business information available to companies that provide services that support our business, such as website analytics or customer service providers. These companies are authorised to use your personal, customer or business information only to provide services to us. When selecting service providers, we make sure that the service provider is located in the European Economic Area.

We will only share your personal, customer or business information with third parties as described in the Privacy Notice. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Rights

In certain cases, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of personal data relating to you and the right to object to the processing of personal data relating to you.

If you believe that your privacy has been abused, please contact the data controller. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you are habitually resident.

Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data
